Stephen Schueler, co-owner and board member of Copenhagen Polo Club (home of Denmark’s national polo team), and co-owner of Nordic Storm (Denmark’s American Football Team), was part of the ownership group behind the winner of the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs.
“I am extremely proud of the entire team. To win such a prestigious race at one of the most historic venues in global horse racing is something very special.”
The Kentucky Derby is widely regarded as the most prestigious race in American horse racing. Held annually on the first Saturday in May in Louisville, Kentucky, it brings together the world’s top three-year-old Thoroughbreds over a distance of 1¼ miles. Often referred to as “The Most Exciting Two Minutes in Sports,” the race is a defining moment in the international racing calendar.
